How Does It Works?

Tattoo RW is a ribbon-free printer that uses rewritable cards. Such cards contain a thermochromatic material that turns visible, or vanishes, according to the applied temperature.

This reversible process makes it possible to erase and print on the same card up to 500 times.

With its 300 dpi resolution and its large printing surface, Tattoo RW allows you to print images, texts and barcodes of a greater quality. According to your application, all you want to show becomes clearly visible. Tattoo connects in USB or Ethernet from the standard model.
Personalise the way it is used according to your needs: the cards can be automatically or manually inserted and ejected. Whether a personalisation by the unit or limited series production are involved, Tattoo RW will know how to adapt very simply.
A system to automatically adjust the thickness of the cards makes any manual adjustment redundant! The printer accepts cards from 0.50 to 0.76 mm with no adjusting.
Tattoo RW offers a number of encoding possibilities. Contactless magnetic track and chip encoders can even be combined to issue highly sophisticated cards.
